Loan
To use this service you must have an HABE Liburutegia card or a card of any of the other libraries that are part of the Public Reading Network of the Basque Autonomous Community.
How many documents and for how long?
You can borrow up to 6 documents (books, videos, CDs…).
Duration: 45 days. This period can be extended for an additional 15 days (once only) as long as the document has not been reserved by anyone else. To extend the loan, you will need to make a request before the 45-day period is up.
In the case of teaching materials, you can borrow all the items (including resource materials) linked to a single title, up to a maximum of 6 titles.
Where
At the premises of the HABE Liburutegia in Donostia-San Sebastian.
You can collect and return documents borrowed at the HABE premises in Vitoria-Gasteiz and in Bilbao, but all the requests must be sent to the HABE Liburutegia premises in Donostia-San Sebastian.
What cannot be borrowed?
The magazines/journals, books dating back to before 1970, rare books or reference materials (dictionaries, encyclopaedias, etc.) and some others that may not be borrowed and which can only be consulted on the library premises.
